David Alley

David Alley is CEO and Chairman of Designs for Learning, a MN consulting firm with 30 employees and 20 contractors serving Charter Schools, non-profits and small businesses since 1992, with a wide variety of services. He has a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, with an emphasis in Adult Learning and Higher Education, and occasionally teaches Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) classes. He volunteers with the de-Stress program at the University of MN, Habitat for Humanity and sings with the Morning Star Singers group for people with serious illness or in hospice. David has two wonderful daughters, a son-in-law and two granddaughters, and he qualified for and ran the Boston Marathon last year right after he turned 65. :-)
