BIPOC Sanghas for Direct Action is planning another protest sit TONIGHT TUESDAY, 4/20 from 5:30-7pm at George Floyd Memorial Square on 38th and Chicago. They write:

We invite you, your sanghas, and practice groups to come and sit with us. Bring your signs, something to sit on, water, and your love for our community. If you can, please wear brightly colored clothes or your vestments. You might also bring a flower or two to honor George Floyd and many others who have lost their lives as a result of police violence. Understanding that these tensions will be high, know that safety can not be guaranteed and that there may be other community members practicing different styles of protest. We will be sitting on the concrete where George Floyd spent the final moment of his life.

In spite of it all, our peaceful resolve can and does make a difference in our lives and in the lives of others, making this world just a small bit more liveable for us all.

With a deep bow of gratitude,

Zenzele Isoke & Arleta Little
