Poem from New Year’s Community Celebration

At the New Year’s Eve celebration, there is a tradition of everyone writing down a wish or a statement of love or hope.  Then everyone puts them in a bowl and draws one out to read as part of a spontaneous dharma poem.
This was one of the poems:
We come to find peace & reprieve
And join as one this New Year’s Eve
To spread the love & joy around
And bless this space, our
Common Ground
