Ujaama Place Virtual Breakfast Event on Oct 8th
We’re sharing this online event from Ujaama Place, an organization that Judith Ragir, Guiding Teacher of Clouds in Water Zen Center, is part of. She writes: “It is a non-for-profit that provides a wholistic transformation process for African-American men ages 18-30. Their theory of transformation includes the whole range of issues: housing, employment, education, health and wellness, criminal justice advocacy.”
The event is a virtual breakfast at 8:00am Thursday, October 8th. Ujaama Place writes: “Have your coffee cup filled to the brim at 8:00am ready for an hour of music, testimonials from our Men, celebrity appearances and an update from me (Otis Zanders) on the State of Ujamaa in a COVID World.
