Connecting to the spiritual community is an important part of the practice at Common Ground. Sharing your experience and friendship with others who are also working to develop a clear, compassionate mind will support and nourish your own mindfulness meditation practice.

Attending a retreat or meditation program, offering to volunteer your services or time, or joining a community group are some of the ways that you can deepen your practice by becoming involved in the community at Common Ground.

“The companionship within the Sangha is a kind of clean friendship—without expectation, without demand, but at the same time, fulfilling.”  – Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche
