Buddhist/Jewish Affinity Group
On the second Thursday of each month from 6:30 – 8:00 pm, beginning June 13th, an in-person Buddhist/Jewish affinity group will meet in the community room at Common Ground Meditation Center. Anyone who locates themselves somewhere at the intersection of Jewish and Buddhist identities – whether through culture, practice, or otherwise – is welcome. We will come together to check-in and share what is arising in the heart and mind, especially around what might be triggered by the Israeli/Palestinian crisis. We will ground in awareness and co-create a loving and vulnerable space together. The co-facilitators are Ann Schulman and Liz Balsam. Email: Schulman.ann@gmail.com with questions.
Common Ground offers all programs freely in the spirit of generosity. If you'd like to volunteer or donate to support the teacher(s) and the center, visit: https://commongroundmeditation.vercel.app/the-practice-of-generosity.
The leaders/facilitators for this program are not acting in a formal teaching role. As such, all donations made in support for this program can be made out to Common Ground’s general fund (i.e. not designated to a particular teacher or fund).
