Common Ground Retreat Center, like our city center, is supported by volunteers. We have no paid staff who live at the retreat center, so we rely on the generosity of volunteers who stop by to mow the lawn, tend to maintenance projects, clean, cook, and more! If you're interested in supporting the retreat center in one of these ways, email retreatcenter@commongroundmeditation.org. We generally have two Work Practice Periods each summer, which are a great time to take care of the retreat center in community while also practicing mindfulness and meditation. Learn more about those here.

The history of the retreat center is a story of generosity. From the donations that purchased the property in 2013, to the hard work of volunteers who renovated it and the ongoing support of the community that keeps it running, Common Ground Retreat Center is a testament to the power of generosity. A special thanks to Cory Clemetson, pictured here, who was our renovation manager and continues to be involved in ongoing site development.

Hope to see you there soon!
