Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation

New to meditation? Great, welcome! We offer several options to allow anyone to get started at your own pace and to get to know us and what we offer.

Attend an Introductory Course

Our Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation courses and workshops are offered several times throughout the year and are a great place to begin one's practice. In the Intro course or workshop, you will:

  • Learn insight (vipassana) meditation techniques.
  • Get guidance on the common challenges that arise in meditation and get questions answered by an experienced teacher.
  • Find ways to integrate mindfulness practice into your daily life.
  • Connect with other new practitioners and community members.

Join a Weekly Practice Group

Weekly Practice Groups are a great time to drop in and get a feel for what we offer. They're offered several times a week by our Guiding Teachers and include a guided meditation, a talk on mindfulness and/or Buddhist teachings, and time for questions and discussion.
